Bridges by Pamela Garland

This is Poinsett Bridge and is said to be the most haunted place in South Carolina.  I consider myself to be very observant but I did not notice any paranormal activity on my visit there.  My daughter said this area is frequently used for photoshoots so I wonder if anything unusual has ever been captured in photographs!

Goddess of Snow, Ice and Hail by Pamela Garland

Photographic composites are created by using elements from more than one image and combining them into a single image.  By so doing you are limited in the images you can create only by your own imagination.  Throw in some AI-created elements and the possibilities are limitless!  Here we have Chione, the Goddess of Snow, Ice and Hail and daughter of the God of the North Wind.  Her superpower is the ability to turn people into ice.

Top Gun Movie Poster, Sort Of by Pamela Garland

This is my re-creation of the Top Gun Movie poster that I actually put together a couple years ago when the Maverick movie was originally scheduled for release. These kinds of things are lots of fun to do!

Beetle on a Tea Olive by Pamela Garland

This is a ladybug that I discovered on the tea olive as I was walking around the yard. It was most cooperative for its photo session. The tea olive doesn’t have prominent flowers but it has the most wonderful, subtle fragrance. We have these throughout the yard and I’ll take their fragrance over roses any day! Between the tea olive, roses, honeysuckle and jasmine we have a very perfumed summer backyard.

There Is A Season by Pamela Garland

We are in the midst of winter, dreary and cold. Just remember there is a time to every purpose under heaven. Though you probably can’t see them in this lower resolution photo but there are reflections in the waterdrops, thus renewal and REFLECTIONS.

A Break? by Pamela Garland

“Okay, you can take a 15-minute break though it would be a great deal more helpful if you would take 15 minutes to actually work.” I’m not at all sure this assistant thing is terribly worthwhile.
